The OMNIKEY 5422 dual-interface reader offers the ideal combination of contact and contactless technology in a single device. Connected to a PC, the device processes (read/write) 13.56 MHz contactless smart cards and virtually all contact smart cards. This makes it ideal for environments requiring both contact and contactless smart card technologies. It is compatible with standard PCs and workstations, as well as thin and zero clients.
